Students will be allotted by ‘West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development’ according to counseling on the basis of Rank of entrance examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO-2022).
Subject Examined: Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (Total Marks: 100 marks)
ii) Through Management Quota (Direct admission) (25% of Approved Intake)
Step-1: Seats will be allotted through counseling according to the TAT-2022 merit list (must have valid JEXPO-2022 Rank of respective year)
Step-2: The vacant seats (if any, after counseling of TAT-2022 merit listed candidates), will be filled by Spot-counseling as follows:
According to the Merit List-1: Prepared with respect to JEXPO-2022 valid Rank of respective year (Among the candidates who enrolled their names by filling up Pre-Admission Enrolment form available in www.techniqueedu.com or TPI enquiry counter)
According to Merit List-2: Prepared with respect to total marks in Physical Science & Mathematics taken together (at least 90 marks) in 10th standard
Age: There is no age limit.
Qualification: Must have passed / appeared* the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) [erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training].
OR
Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed. Appeared ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET-2022. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and the single certificate should mention the duration of the ITI course.
OR
Passed / appeared* 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute.
OR
Passed / appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute.
OR
Passed / appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from recognized Board / Council / Institute (including CSS for VHSE).
* Subject to submission of pass certificate / marksheet at the time of admission.
Through VOCLET Counseling Quota (10% of Approved Intake):
Students are sent by West Bengal State Council of Technical education according to counseling on the basis of entrance examinations for polytechnic (VOCLET-2022)
Subject Examined: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Fundamental of Mechanics and Computer Application (Total Marks: 100)
Eligibility: 1. Passed 10th standard/SSC Examination and 2 years ITI after 10th or
2. Passed 10th standard/SSC examination and minimum of two years full time work experience in a registered Firm/Company/Industry/Educational and Government/Autonomous organisation in the relevant field

Rules And Regulations
ii. Students who are absent on medical grounds should produce a valid Medical Certificate along with an endorsement letter from parent/guardian while reporting to the institute after recovery.
iii. A student who is continuously absent on 30 days without a valid reason will be removed from roll automatically.
Note: Parents/guardians are advised to encourage their wards to remain present in the Institute during the academic session.
ii. Semester fee again to be deposited along with Re-Admission fees by the students as per the rate of current Academic session in which he/she is going to be Re-Admitted.
i. The institute reserves the right of admission. In matters of admission, academic programmes, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and students discipline, the discipline, the decision of the management shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
ii. Admission is subject to verification of Mark sheet, Certificate and other documents by the WBSCTVESD. If the documents are found to be false or if any discrepancy is found in any of the record submitted, admission will be cancelled and criminal action will also be taken.
iii. At the discretion of management, admission may be declined or cancelled at anytime during course if warranted by non-performance or on grounds or serious disciplinary matters.
iv. All admissions are made provisionally and are subjects to approval of WBSCTVESD
v. Indulgence in activities of Associations based on Caste, Colour, Creed, Language, Nationality or Political ideology will not be permitted within the institution premises or in the hostels
vi. The management reserves the right to expel any student on ground of serious irregularity of attendance, insubordination, malpractice in examinations or any other act of indiscipline or misconduct. The decision of college authority in this regards shall be final.
vii. If any student/candidate apply for cancellation of admission after the closure of admission process, the institute will not be liable to refund any fee.
viii. The management reserves the right to increase the fees towards any course of study at the beginning of the subsequent academic year of a course, if necessary.
ix. Students shall not loiter about in the institute premises when the classes are in progress.
x. Ragging in any form is serious offense as provided in west Bengal Prohibition of Ragging in Educational Institutions Act.2000 (W.B. Act. XIII of 2000) which inter alia, contained the following provisions (for details, ‘The Calcutta Gazette’, Extraordinary published by Authority, on Monday, 29th May, 2000 may be seen) and those involving in it will be summarily dismissed as per Acts and laws of the land. The cause of expulsion will be entered in their Transfer Certificate.
xi. Strict discipline will be maintained in the institute campus. Non-compliance with rules & regulations of the Institute will be severely dealt with by appropriate disciplinary action.
xii. Students must take part in inter-college competitions, TV/Radio programmes, only after getting the prior permission from the principal.
xiii. Dress code is strictly maintained during institute hours. Students should not wear T-shirts, and jeans, dress with Photo prints and unwanted slogans.
xiv. All students must possess and expose their identity cards in the college campus, in case loss of I-Card student can take special permission for 3 days from the Principal for entering institution premises. Thereafter duplicate I-Card must be obtained on payment of Rs. 100.00
xv. During their class hour’s students are not to be allowed to visit Office, Library, Principal & In-charge of the departments.
xvi. Perfect silence must be maintained during class hours.
xvii. No meeting shall be held in the institute premises without the permission of Principal.
xviii. Writing on walls, furniture, drawing tables and toilets is strictly prohibited. Students must handle institute property with care.
xix. Representation from the students to the principal should be done through respective departmental In-charge.
xx. Students should use proper colour of dustbin (Green, Blue) for throwing unwanted materials.
xxi. All sessional work must be completed within class. After completion of each experiment/job/ assignment, students must submit lab manual/drawing sheets in the next class.
xxii. Any change in Telephone number/contact numbers and address must be informed immediately to the Administrative Office of the institute.
xxiii. Students are advised to follow the institute Notice Board regularly.
xxiv. Entertaining outsiders by the students in the institution premises during institution hours is not permitted.
xxv. Students will not be permitted to loiter in the institution on Holidays, unless they have been specially cancelled.
xxvi. Violation of any of the above rules will attract disciplinary action.
xxvii. For the changes of contact number (s), postal address, a candidate must intimate the institution immediately with proper documents (As applicable).

Declaration
a) I promise to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution and West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD) strictly.
b) I shall not pursue any other course /studies elsewhere.
c) I shall make my own arrangement for my accommodation in case hostel facility is not available.
d) I am fully aware that Ragging is strictly prohibited in and outside the institution premises and hostel. I am also fully aware that this is punishable offence as per Law of the Land. If found guilty of Ragging I am liable to be expelled from the institute immediately. I declare that I shall not associated directly or indirectly in any form of Ragging.
e) I shall pay the tuition fees, Hostel fees any other fees/expenses to the institute within the specified date.
f) I shall strictly obey the rules & regulations of WBSCTVESD in respect of attendance, examination etc. and I promise to abide by the code of conduct of the institute.
g) I also understand that the admission fees, semester fees etc. paid to the institute is not refundable under any circumstances.
