About The CIMSR Campus

Combined (P.G.) Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is founded by J.J. Educational Institute educational society situated in Dehradun in Uttarakhand state of India. It is a self financing institute in Uttarakhand state attached with 450 bedded multi specialty indoor hospitals and it is affiliated to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. CIMSR, Dehradun offers 9 courses across 4 streams namely Nursing, Paramedical, Science, Medical and across 7 degrees like BSc, BPT, GNM, ANM, MSc. CIMSR campus is spread over 10000 Acres. Hostel facility is not available for its students. The institute has become a center of excellence in Paramedical & Nursing education in North India.

At Combined (P.G.) Institute of Medical Sciences & Research the students are endowed with modern infra and convenient amenities that make their life ‘go easy’ in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting. Combined (PG) Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Deharadun, offers 9 courses in various disciplines.

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
BPT	The candidates need to pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate [45% for reserved categories] in five subjects including English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology
B.Sc [Nursing]	The candidates need to pass 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as an elective subject with atleast 45% from a university recognized under CBSE/ HSCE/ SSCE/ ICSE/ AISSCE or any other board including the National Institute of Open Schooling
BBA	The candidates need to pass 10+2 with a minimum of five subjects including English from a recognized board
B.Com {Hons.}	The candidates need to pass 10+2 with English and Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum aggregate of 40%
Diploma	The candidates need to pass 10th or equivalent from a recognized Board.
B.Sc	The candidates need to pass 10+2 with science subjects and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate

Infrastructure Facilities

The present institute campus is spread over in an area of 10,000 sq. meters, which includes the administrative block, library, cafeteria, lecture theatres and laboratories of different departments. The institute is situated on the National highway at Haridwar Road, Dehradun and campus includes separate boys and girls hostels and a huge play ground. The CIMSR is attached with CMI, a well equipped multi-speciality indoor hospital spread in an area of 60,000 sq. ft on the main Haridwar Road near Railway Station.

CIMSR infrastructure facilities include separate hostels for both boys and girls.
It has provided with excellent mess arrangements with hygienically cooked three meals a day.
It has recreation rooms in both hostels with T.V, newspapers and indoor games.
The hostel has round the clock security to ensure the safety of the hostels.
It has R.O. water supply and Gym facility are provided to the hostlers.

Library Facilities

CIMSR possesses very well equipped libraries for catering to the needs of students, research scholars and faculty in their respective streams. All libraries together have a stock of more than 30000 text and reference books, journals and magazines, information aids including newspapers, market reports and many other necessary outputs. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty, staff and students. Along with the main centralized library, there are individual libraries as well in different departments to provide books to the students in the department itself.
